Const. Larkin 75A was informed just now by a woman who refused her name, that the people in 9 Upr Kevin St which is opposite the Barrack were clearing out, as she said the Sinn Fein Volunteers were going to occupy the house, to fire on the Barrack tonight.

The Governor of Mountjoy Prison called here now and said he heard a rumour that the Prison would be attacked tonight and wants to know if troops could be sent to the place, he has already communicated with the Under Secretary and has not heard from him since 6pm. He is anxious for a reply.
